Andrea Johnson had been writing since the age of ten. She had a vision of becoming a published author someday, and sharing her stories with the masses. However, traditional publishing was more difficult to get into than she'd first expected.
Undeterred by the challenges she faced, Andrea published her first book, Blood of my Blood, in 2008, under the self publishing industry. But even though she was able to capitalize on the freedom print on demand granted, there were many things that these vanity presses did not offer. And the
prices were often too expensive for a new author trying to break into the world of print.
In 2017, the idea was formed to create a platform that combined the advantages of on demand printing, with some of the benefits of traditional publishing.
Taking her expertise as a published author, and using the knowledge she gained from being a publishing consultant with one of the largest self publishing companies, the vision of Andrea Johnson Books Publishing was brought into existence.
As the Ceo of a small marketing firm, she's taken her sales and media background to use it as a tool to give authors more of what they deserve.
