About the Author

My name is Jaquella Loyd, some call me Jay; but my writer name is Jae Loy! I was born and raised in Dallas, TX and can count on one hand how many times I have left the state. I graduated top 25% of my class 2013, from North Mesquite High School, and went to Texas Women’s University, graduating within three years. I have always been the artsy type, whether it was theatre, singing, drawing, you name it. I was more in the scenes during high school, but due to me being a theatre major, I was more behind scenes during college. I have so many poems and songs written and just started writing books about a year ago. But it was my grandmother who pursued me more to write.

I also have a small business called, So Fine Treatz, located in the DFW, selling both vegan and non-vegan treats such as cookies, cakes, brownies, cupcakes, and more. One bite will have you feeling oh, So Fine! With some busy schedules, it gets hard cooking every night and takeout isn't always the best, so 'Jay preppin' is in business as well. I can customize meals to meet one's diet, including up to three different meals for the week. (Vegan, Keto, Pescatarian, Weight watchers, Mediterranean, Raw food, and Alkaline.) I love working out, trying to stay fit and motivated so those prepped meals come in clutch. I dib and dab in the candle business, as well as body/lip scrubs that will leave you feeling soft, smooth, and relaxed.

Jaquella is doing amazing things and has some very interesting projects in store for her fans. So stay tuned for her new and upcoming works!
